Objective

Our client operates a EMEA wide e-commerce platform, realising >300m in revenue which, in fact, regularly generates 1m€ in a core business hour.

The client was keen to offer a perfect service to customers via mobile app, desktop, OCI and Ariba order interfaces. As some customers put forward orders or requests exceeding 2m€, every individual transaction is crucial and it’s vital not to miss a single order.

Solutions

We installed our customer-centric monitoring suite to keep a tight eye on the service. Our client is very cost-sensitive so, after an initial phase applying a mixed-shore model, we now deliver our service solely from our India centre.

We are set up in a true DevOps mode and enhance our client’s platform on a sprint basis using our agile delivery team approach (for defect-fixing-campaigns and platform evolution). We also provide testing-as-a-service and control the full deployment-and release-chain to cope with our client’s demanding high quality standards.

It’s important to note that we go-live up to 60x per year for our client - in some cases without manual interventions due to our advanced CI/CD set up.

Key results

Our client is extremely happy with the quality and efficiency of our service delivery. The application is now very robust – as are the operations and security net around it that we built.
